I have a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Colorado State University.  I worked as a designer in the production and sign industry for 14 years before I began working freelance.  I loved the office environment and fast pace, but becoming a freelance designer allowed me to work from home as we started our family.  Many years later,

(no need to be specific, but we're closer to an empty nest rather than building one), I still do graphic design and have added a few more trades to the list.  Art and painting instruction, Mixed media artist and Jewelry maker, for now. I've done a lot of different things and I like it that way. I hope to keep adding to the list!
